PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Archimedes Commercial Construction believes in comprehensive pre-construction planning. Utilizing our own in-house expertise, we bring together our construction project team, the owner, architects, and engineers to discuss effective strategies for communication, site layout and conditions, value engineering, constructability, cost/schedule studies, and procurement of long lead time items, as well as plans for safety, productivity, quality control and testing.

The following denotes some of the pre-construction services that are provided by Archimedes.  Please note that all procedures are specifically customized to meet the needs and objectives of our client.

• Attend preliminary meeting to confirm the project’s goals and objectives
• Conduct weekly meetings with client, design team and others
• Develop the project budget and provide updates throughout the pre-con phase
• Perform comparative cost analyses and value engineering studies
• Monitor and update the project schedule throughout the preconstruction phase
• Perform subcontractor prequalification process
• Prepare and issue all subcontractor bid packages

GENERAL CONTRACTING

Archimedes General Contracting Services expedite lump sum agreement contracts on time and within budget. The team at Archimedes Commercial Construction will perform pre-construction though commissioning under a GC contract. Our experienced superintendents coordinate the field operations in conjunction with the Project Manager. All matters are handled professionally and safely. Sub-Contractors are thoroughly qualified. In-house work is performed by long standing professional tradesman.
