Dennis Serna
Director of Construction

Dennis Serna has been working in the Construction Management business since 1984.  Prior to joining Archimedes Commercial Construction, Dennis was a Commercial Project Manager for Mercedes Enterprises in Stamford Connecticut. His projects included the commercial waterfront projects: Harbor Square and Stamford Landing.

From there, five years were spent with NTX Construction in Manhattan as VP of special projects. Responsibilities included fast tracked high-end retail, NYC hospitals and schools. Finally five years were spent with Starwood Capital Group overseeing the Construction Management of acquired development projects.

Dennis has joined the Archimedes Group with the desire to create a full service Construction Management firm and through Archimedes Commercial Construction, Dennis has built a team that produces on time projects with focus on pre-planning to avoid conflict during construction.

Dennis earned a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of New Haven.

Wesley Krech
Managing Director

Wesley Krech has been working in the Construction Management business since 1998, and has been with Archimedes Builders since 2003.  Wes is responsible for all project coordination, bid packages & leveling. subcontracts & requisition reviews, weekly owners’ meetings, change orders & transmittals, and quality control & value engineering.

  • Prior to working at Archimedes Builders, Wes worked for a New York-based Architecture Firm, where he spent 5 years managing a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial and industrial renovations.  Furthermore, Wes handled every facet of each job from start to finish, from measuring and drawing existing conditions, to designing and drawing the plans needed to get the projects approved in accordance with Building Codes & Zoning Provisions, as well as obtaining the necessary permits needed to get the projects ready for the construction phase.
  • In 1998, Wes began working for a Commercial Interior Design firm, where he worked alongside a project manager to learn and ultimately become responsible for taking the corporate commercial retail design schemes and adapting them to fit the buildings.
  • Wes comes from an architecturally-trained background, from being fascinated with construction at a young age to studying architecture throughout high school, and furthering his architectural training at Vermont Technical College, and later at Porter & Chester Technical School.

Elan Etstein
Comptroller

Elan Etstein has been working in the construction industry since 2004.  At Archimedes Builders, he works in various areas which include customer service relations, accounting, research and communications.

  • Responsible for cash flow projections, requisitions & lien waivers, and payments & financial reporting.
  • Prior to joining Archimedes Builders, he was the Senior Account Manager for a Marketing Firm, during which he oversaw and managed many high-profile clients from the beginning phase to completion.  His responsibilities included, but were not limited to writing, graphic design, customer service and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Earlier on, Elan ran his own Rental Car branch, where customer service was his top priority.  Through his efforts to increase his fleet of vehicles and overall revenue and was the this top salesperson in his region
  • In 2000, Elan joined a very well-known Public Relations firm in New York City, where he wrote, developed and pitched press releases and pitch letters to relevant local and national media outlets.  Furthermore, he researched and developed tradeshow calendars and press kit materials for multiple clients in the fields of technology, entertainment, real estate and health.  Lastly, Elan organized, ran and assisted in the preparation and maintenance of special events for high-profile celebrities.
  • Elan has a Bachelor’s Degree from American University in Public Communication.
