Commercial Investments
The commercial team at Greenwich RE is focused on the identification, acquisition, operation and disposition of undervalued or underperforming commercial real estate assets in exceptional locations in the NJ/NY/CT tri-state area.
With an opportunistic or value-added investment strategy and a target hold period of three to six years, the team seeks to identify and secure off-market assets that require improvement or repositioning to stabilize the assets and achieve significant value creation.

Residential Investments
The residential team at Greenwich RE targets opportunistic high-barrier-to-entry residential projects with broken capital structures. Our focus is purchasing the distressed debt of underlying assets. We specialize in the identification, due diligence, acquisition, management, construction and disposition of exclusive residential assets.

Execution
Each investment opportunity is unique, and Greenwich RE has the experience, insight and local relationships required to quickly analyze the merits of an investment opportunity, develop a strategy to maximize value for investors, and ultimately execute on the operation, repositioning and disposition of an asset. Extensive internal construction experience also allows Greenwich RE to improve or redevelop an asset with great efficiency.

As founder of Archimedes Group in 1996, Tal Etshtien has focused successfully on real estate development for over a decade. He is currently responsible the day-to-day management of the Group. Tal founded Greenwich RE as an opportunistic real estate acquisition and development platform that targets acquisition of residential and commercial projects suffering from broken capital structures. His focus with Greenwich RE is on the identification and acquisition of undervalued real estate projects with compelling risk profiles that lead to divestitures yielding exceptional returns.
Tal graduated from Williams College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, concentrations in Art Studio and History.

Larry Jacob
Principal

Larry Jacob recently joined Greenwich RE and is responsible for commercial real estate investments. He came from JPMorgan’s Real Estate & Lodging Investment Bank, where he provided financial and strategic advisory services for clients in the real estate industry with a concentration on joint-venture equity partnerships and asset and company sales.
Prior to JPMorgan, Larry was a Development Manager for a New York-based development firm. Here he directed the development of a 430,000sf condominium project with an affordable housing component.
Larry earned a BS degree in Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Finance.
